What is covered in Alcohol & Our Wellbeing Training?
What sets Soberight apart is our emphasis on real-life strategies to moderate alcohol in practice.
Most professionals begin each year or even each week intending to drink a little bit less. Alcohol is the first thing to go when we need to be at our best.
However, through societal pressure and misattributing many of the strains we feel back to other variables, we tend to miss alcohol.
We take participants through techniques they can apply at home and in social/professional settings to reduce the risks and effects of alcohol consumption on their performance.
We will provide a granular insight around what to say, do, as well as the mindsets we can adopt as needed - social stigmas and a reliance on alcohol as a means to relax, unwind, and de-stress can make it nigh on impossible for many of us to feel comfortable and confident in moderating our alcohol consumption.
Our training challenges the norms around alcohol at home, in society and in professional life. We explore alcohol’s impact across areas such as stress, sleep, body composition and link these struggles back to our professional performance.
We also provide attendees with the tools needed to spot the signs of a problematic relationship with alcohol and where to seek appropriate support.
Why organisations choose Soberight?
We’ve all been there. Our drinking habits have long been something we hide from our superiors, shy away from and stigmatise - but it’s an aspect of our lives that can really pause or move the needle in our work.
For decision-makers within an organisation, an opportunity to enable confidence and control in your team in respect of alcohol will mitigate and prevent its profound impact on the performance and mental health of our colleagues.
We do not believe in “tick-box training.” Every participant leaves a Soberight training more informed, more capable and more confident.
