Our co-founder Shane graduated from University College Cork in 2024 with a BCL Law & Business degree. Since then, he has worked in Law and Data protection at one of Ireland’s leading and most innovative legal firms.

Shane is passionate about health & fitness and believes that the pivot towards increased wellness in the last decade has seen a greater emphasis placed on awareness and fear-mongering in place of practical advice. He developed Soberight with his partner Natalie to focus solely on alcohol, the first company of its kind, for this very reason.

Shane, alongside Natalie, speaks publicly on behalf of Soberight, and they have begun to support Alcohol Focus Scotland in 2026. .

Away from Soberight, Shane is a keen snooker player and guitarist. He also tries in earnest to learn Serbian, though this is proving challenging!

Natalie, a native of Dunfermline, Scotland, studied BSc Food, Nutrition and Health and graduated from Abertay University, Dundee, in 2022. She has since worked with hundreds of women as a nutritionist.

Natalie is nearly four years alcohol-free and, through travelling extensively, believes the culture and norms around alcohol in the UK & Ireland make it seem incredibly onerous to moderate or stop drinking. She noticed that alcohol is always a stumbling block for her clients and, like Shane, shares the value that controlling this one aspect of our lives will truly move the needle in our performance and wellbeing.

Natalie provides 1:1 support to those looking to cut back or cut out alcohol. She also hosts live Soberight events both online and in-person and is an ambassador for Millie Gooch’s “Sober Girl Society.”

Outside of her work at Soberight, you’re likely to catch Natalie at a Pilates or Yoga class. She is a foodie at heart and hates being disturbed when she’s in her “World of Warcraft” bubble!
